The City of Amber Dreams

After a night spent in the tree house, 4 friends wake up to a windy morning. An unusual autumn weather in May. The sky looked different, as they saw a shadow growing, casting down on Earth. They run as fast as they could but two of them were left behind, a boy and a girl. The streets became a complete chaos, as people ran from the incoming ships form the skies. The two friends hurried to shelter in an abandoned building, as the roaring sound approached. It grew darker and darker. The ships were swiping the streets with their rays of light, and people were vanishing. The screaming was vanishing. As the human sound diminished and the machine howl approached, the two youngsters held their breaths under the staircases that led to the basement. Silence. And roar. A few seconds and the autumn light in May came back. The ships were leaving. The two came out from their hiding only to find emptiness... Walking with the echo of the screaming in their ears.
